Description

A shot taken last year of my niece and a friend as they were about to head off to prom. Of course, she describes this as a "hideous" photo of herself. However, I beg to differ.

This also marks a bit of experimentation I'm doing in photoshop to give photos that 'aged' look. Expect to see more along these lines. My thanks also goes out to Martin for the assist with this one.

Nice soft tones, it has lost some detail to the overexposure though. That washed out effect is good, too often people leave the dark areas too dark or black.

it seems too overexposed, and personally, i think the washed out effect is too distracting, it doesnt seperate the subject from the background as well as it should. Its lost its depth

Good work imparting the aged effect. I would prefer a bit more contrast but I understand it probably adds to the effect you were looking for. Nice to see you posting!!
